Plotinus and the Origin of the name.
The terminology Ad Unum directly refers to Plotinus (204/5–270 AD), a key philosopher of Neoplatonism. Plotinus describes reality as emanating from the One and human existence as a possibility of return: not an escape from the world, but an awakening of our inner source.

What is Ad Unum Experience Energy Healing
Ad Unum Experience Energy Healing is the energy-healing petal of the Ad Unum Experience project: the approach, developed within Reconnective Academy International, that integrates science, philosophy, energy healing and personal growth into a single path of inner coherence. It is not a single technique, but a journey that guides a person from understanding to real integration in everyday life. The name comes from the Latin ad unum, “toward the one”: the aim is to reduce inner fragmentation and return to unity. It has no medical purpose and does not replace medical care or treatment.
A petal of the Ad Unum Experience project
Ad Unum Experience is the overall project: a path made up of six petals, each with its own area and dedicated page. Energy Healing is one of these six petals — and this is its page. The other petals explore complementary dimensions of the same journey, and together they form the complete ad unum experience.
The four modalities of energy healing: from transfer to fusion
Not all energy healing works at the same level. We can distinguish four modalities, in order of increasing depth — and it is the clearest way to understand what makes Ad Unum different:
1. Transfer of personal energy. The practitioner gives their own energy to the receiver: there is one who gives and one who receives.
2. Channeling. The practitioner does not use their own energy but acts as a conduit, channeling energy from a source: a one-way movement.
3. Catalysis. The practitioner acts as a catalyst for the receiver’s own process. It is a subtler modality, but it still requires observing the person: as long as there is an observer and an observed, one remains in duality.
4. Fusion — this is where Ad Unum stands. The separation between the one who works and the one who receives, between observer and observed, dissolves: there is no longer “me working on you”, there is unity. It is the very meaning of ad unum, “toward the one”.
